Waterfowl USA Credit Card

Managing Your Life

Waterfowl U.S.A. Credit Card The goal of Waterfowl U.S.A. is saving America's Wetlands, and their waterfowl populations... another mission is to provide superior service to its members. WATERFOWL U.S.A. continues to accomplish this by offering members products and services such as the First USA Platinum Visa* card.

WATERFOWL U.S.A.'s credit card program features First USA's Platinum Visa card, with higher lines of credit, enhanced customer service, added rewards programs and the prestige of carrying the industry's premium card product. In addition, a percentage of net retail sales made on the card goes back to WATERFOWL U.S.A., which uses the funds for initiatives that preserve wildlife and their habitat.

The Platinum Visa card provides all of the services that cardmembers need, but it's up to you to manage your credit. Dr. Judith Briles, financial author and spokesperson for First USA, Bank One's credit card company, offers the following tips for managing your credit:

Make a Budget - Take time to make a budget. Estimate your monthly income and expenses and write them down. Your income should exceed your expenses. If not, take another look at your budget -- how can you reduce your expenses or increase your income?

Give Back - Consolidate your purchases onto one credit card - the WATERFOWL U.S.A. Platinum Visa card. It makes it easier for you to keep track of your purchases, plus you can help WATERFOWL U.S.A. every time you use your card.

Learn to say "no" - Discipline yourself from making frivolous purchases. Find a budget that works for you and stick to it.

Exceed the Minimum - Paying the minimum monthly amount due is necessary, but try to pay more than just the minimum. This will save you money in finance charges and it will also help you pay off your balance faster.

Protect Your Identity - Use your credit card only in established locations -both on and offline. If you're making online purchases, make sure the site is secure. Some credit cards offer zero liability -- so in the case of fraud or theft, if you didn't make the purchases, then you're not responsible. If your card is lost or stolen, contact the issuer to report it immediately.

Visit the Web - Many credit card companies offer you access to your credit card account information such as available balance, outstanding credit and recent purchases online. You can also set up bill pay vie the Internet to help you pay your bills on time and avoid late fees.

First USA believes it is critical to give people the most convenient, beneficial and satisfying ways to pay for what they want and need. First USA's products and services give cardmembers the financial flexibility and convenience to make their customer experience second to none.

WATERFOWL U.S.A. is committed to providing the best for its members and encourages all to take advantage of their services offered. Together, WATERFOWL U.S.A. and First USA are helping all members manage their money more efficiently.
